Jody has been with me now for about 2 years and I could not be more proud of how far she has come. When she first started training with me, she had debilitating neck/lower back pain and there were a lot of movements she simply could not do without getting a terrible headache or feeling lightheaded. She had very little upper body and core strength and based upon her issues, I knew those were some of the first areas we needed to really hone in on. Within the first year of training, Jody saw massive improvements in her low back pain and lost 12 lbs by clean eating!
She recently went on a kayak trip that lasted several hours and she was pleased to report back that she had no pain in her back or neck. She sent me this pic and I had to post it to show off all that muscle definition! Jody has a positive attitude and she will try anything (at least once) that I throw her way - I’ve snuck in squats, dips, plank holds, and her favorite, grasshoppers, into our Pilates routine.
“Two years ago I was on journey to incorporate exercise into my life, while dealing with neck & back issues. Along the way I have lost 16 lbs, built muscle and conquered the neck/back issues. Kayaking would never have been a possibility at the beginning of this journey. I am looking forward to future adventures!”
